Mugshot of Shellie Zimmerman.

F

lorida Judge Kenneth Lester does not play that. That’s the message he sent to George Zimmerman and his wife today, when the court sent sheriff’s deputies to arrest her on perjury charges. Shellie Zimmerman, 25, was arrested around 3:30 pm at her residence according to BayNews9.com.

If the arrest had a soundtrack, it would be the one from the TV show “COPS.”

“Bad Boys! Bay Boys! Whatcha gonna do? Watcha gonna do when they come for you?”

As we reported earlier (in a more mature article), Zimmerman’s bond was revoked June 1, after he and and his wife got caught trading cryptic messages that made it appear as if they were coordinating a lie about how much money they had in order to suppress Zimmerman’s bond.

According to the motion to revoke,on April 16 Zimmerman gave his wife access to his account and the couple had the following exchange:

Later that same day they again talked about the financial picture:

The above statements clearly indicate that Zimmerman’s wife was aware of how much money they had and encouraged her husband to use it in order get out of jail. On April 19 the couple’s credit union statement registered $135,000. The very next day, however, Shelly gave the following testimony:

And,

It also looks like they conspired to hide Zimmy’s passport.

On April 17 Zimmerman and his wife had the following discussion:

Oh, Shellie! I almost feel sorry for you for getting tangled up in your husband’s situation. But then I come to my senses and remember that he shot and killed an unarmed teenager and has been charged with second degree murder. Love will make you do crazy things. But somebody has to apply common sense.

Will Romney’s Latest Gaffe Really Cost Him the Election?

As ironic and as tone deaf as Romney's comments were, I don't think they alone will cost him the election.
