ops claim that Ramarley Graham, the Bronx teenager they shot and killed last week, was running away from them. The surveillance video shows him walking and shows police entering his home without a warrant.

Al Sharpton held a press conference denouncing the killing and hundreds gathered yesterday for a protest in the Bronx. They chanted “NYPD-KKK.”

  1. Oh nd of course all community leaders contacted -ignored and were jerks on top of it-including media. There was one black owned press editor owner that spoke to me long and kindly, but he was scared since to earlier threats from activism.

  2. Oh and when cop saw I was recording he stated that and that is why left. I hope he rots in hell and I am not even into violence or neg thoughts. There is no way I was their first.

  3. Justice

Please contact. I told Sharpton over and over this was happening. He ignored it. I had my door kicked down when I went to library. I came back and was with a black elder male friend. They would not let me in, had me on the floor in hall. I managed to press record. Me and the MN had been at local attorney Gen office week before about kkk in cops. He told us poor people will never be believed. He was nasty. I never did a crime and I am female. They called animal control and lied I was not feeding pets. I was then forced w-o warrant to show AC inside. I showed them 20 pd bags of f food not counting wet and my way expanded vet home medical supplies. All doors had been kicked open with wood frames broken and the kocjs and nails across the room were thrown f such force. All door mirrors were shattered and broke nd petsbleeding f glass. And they lied and say I abuse? No one helped and my mom even went w me to capital to report and they refused to open a case. By the way, I am white. And if my black elder friend happened to not be there as witness, sick redneck cop would have killed me. And he did threaten that-verbally. Like I said, I have no record. I only spoke up. The force is full of kk. If Sharpton used my case which is well documented, this incident above might have been prevented by exposures to what they do, illegally. I also told the of another incident beating a black man up that same month, by the way.

The author bio says that the author fell in love with New York City the first time she visited. A serious question: do incidents like those reported in this story tarnish the author’s love of New York, or do they instead make her feel that her work is more crucial?

    • Great question! I still love it and feel that my work is more crucial. There is not a place on planet earth that has not been spoiled by racism and colonialism, least of all Africa. If we plan to live here, we have to change it.

  5. Ironic 90% of police brutality cases involve white officers beating, shooting or killing black people! This behavior by the police would never be tolerated if the victims were other than Black. This is a sick culture filled with hate and and a license given to these tax paid men and women hiding behing the code of blue by this government. As a christian I continue to believe that good always take precident over bad but my faith is fading. For too long this has been more the rule than the exception with the black community being treated as inhumane and slaves religated to the desires of racist cops, judges and the entire judicial system in this country. I have to assume that the leaders are satisfied with holding marches and protest with no change taking place as a result of their efforts. Many affluent people in this country don’t really condone this criminal gange-like behavior but remain silent because I assume that they see the leaders of the black communities and the government turn a bline eye and co-sign the continuance of such barabaric hehavior to a specific block of citizens in this country namely the Black community.I often wonder what it wold be like if the bklack community came together on all levels and fought back would it make a difference? One thing I know for sure as long as we talk ( which is expected of us) and take no action the status
